Acne and Acne Scarring

Acne and acne scarring affects most teenagers and many adults. Acne is one of the most common conditions that we treat in our office. Acne is more severe in males in their teenage years, but often females have a tougher time in their twenties and thirties. We see many patients who have acne into their fifties. Each patient's skin is different and there are many acne treatments available. We commonly use topical creams and Chemical Peels. For more severe acne we use oral medications, Smoothbeam Laser or Photodynamic Therapy.
